In working with companies in various industries as consultants, we had a client who had been selling into China from the U.S. for over 5 years. They had sold primarily to the subsidiaries of U.S. companies, but had met major Chinese clients at international trade shows and had made some sales into that market as well. In the last couple of years they had identified various distributors who had expressed an interest in carrying their line of equipment.
Over the course of several trips to China they had met with these distributors, and even travelled with them to visit major plants. They were close to signing with one company when they had second thoughts and called us. My China Sales Team was founded by a team of people who have worked in/with China for at least 10, and as long as 20 years. These partners recognized that many U.S. companies wanted to expand sales in China, whether from their own manufacturing or supplier base there, or through imports from their U.S. operations. Yet a pattern had emerged, U.S. companies were struggling to find Chinese agents/distributors who could, or in practice would, sell their product with the passion and integrity they expected. They were forced to look at setting up their own company in China, and then were faced with the complexity of adapting to another set of regulations for everything; HR, accounting, taxes, legal requirements. Not only learning what the Chinese requirements were but also worried about how the differences impacted their U.S. expectations. Without the opportunity to test the market and without direction from someone they could trust to understand their concerns, they were unsure how to proceed.

That is what motivated the team behind My China Sales Team to set up a corporation in Shanghai. With our expertise and existing entity, your company can leap frog over these roadblocks and develop your market in China with less cost and less risk.
