If after the marketing study you decide to proceed with establishing your own presence through our corporate structure, than together we will take the results of the study and turn it into a two year budgeted plan. In the first few months we initiate setting up an office/brand identity/hiring the sales team.

We manage the design and build of the website and promotional materials, and help to register the trademarks and patents.

Then the "company" begins — and over the next few months we will work with you to train the employees, contact potential customers, finalize the price and distribution channels, work out the import/VAT issues, and begin sales. As sales expand, we work with you to react to the changing environment and take advantage of the opportunities that present themselves. As the contract period comes close to the end date we assess the outcome of the first year and revise the next year’s projections. Your team then decides whether to proceed with the existing structure, to hire additional staff and expand, or to spin off and establish your own corporate entity in China (where we transfer the trained team to your new entity - and you hit the ground running).

Marketing Study

With every client we start with an in depth Marketing Study.

First we want to understand your company and the products you have. Then we want to understand your market in China; the industry, the competition, the customers, and the support system (trade shows, industry magazines, etc).

Based on this research, we look to position you in the market. We take a look at price considerations, distribution, a timeline, etc. We work with you to estimate the revenue and costs based on the options we have identified.

Through our research we come up with contacts, experts, names and numbers that will assist us (you) in moving forward with the sales plan. The cost and length of time it takes to complete the study varies widely, depending on your industry, product type, and how much history you already have in China.
